Stake.us is one of the best-known sweepstakes brands, with a casino mode, a poker mode and games our testers praised for their production quality. Our Texas testers scored it 8.0, and it settles your identity before you win, so a verified account is ready when you redeem. People searching for sites like Stake.us rarely want to replace it. They want a second account, often one with a bigger free balance than its 10,000 Gold Coins and 1 Sweeps Coin. This guide picks five sweepstakes casinos open to South Carolina players that give you more to start with.
The Stake.us benchmark
| Programme tests | 9 |
| Overall score | 6.2 / 10 nationally (8.0 from our Texas testers) |
| Free start | 10,000 GC + 1 SC |
| ID checks | 7 of 9 tests |
| Operator | Sweepsteaks Limited, Cyprus |
Stake.us verifies early, and all three of our Texas testers met the check at signup. If you would rather try a site before handing over documents, WOW Vegas and Jackpota below verify only when you redeem.
Five alternatives
1. Sportzino: ten times the free Sweeps Coins
Sportzino gives new accounts 220,000 GC and 10 SC, ten times Stake.us's free SC, with sports-themed content alongside its slots. Our evidence is thin, at 8 tests with a 7.5 average and one timed payout, which arrived in one to two days.
2. Lucky Bunny: 5 SC with no purchase
Lucky Bunny credits 550,000 FC and 5 SC free. It has 33 tests behind it and a 6.9 average, and South Carolina testers were among those who played it. Most of its timed payouts took three days or more. Lucky Bunny review.
3. WOW Vegas: play now, verify later
WOW Vegas checks nothing at registration. Verification arrives when you redeem or use social features, so you can start playing within minutes. New accounts get 150,000 WOW Coins and 2 SC. It averages 7.6 across 90 tests, and our South Carolina testers scored it 8.3. WOW Vegas review.
4. Jackpota: no ID until withdrawal, and a 10 SC gift-card floor
Jackpota also verifies only at withdrawal. Its free start is 7,500 GC and 2.5 SC, and gift-card redemptions start at just 10 SC, so a small win is easy to turn into a prize. It averages 7.9 across 77 tests, and South Carolina testers scored it 8.5. Jackpota review.
5. Spree: a high score and an easy start
Spree averages 8.2 across 22 tests, the highest overall score in this group, and new accounts receive 25,000 GC and 2.5 SC. Spree review.

Where Stake.us still wins
In our testing Stake.us's games stood out. One Texas tester said the slots were so well made they did not feel like slots at all, and it offers a dedicated poker mode none of these five match. If game quality or poker is the reason you liked Stake.us, keep it as one of your accounts and add an alternative for a bigger free balance.
